- Main Canal, Mile 4.2 to Mile 7.8, north of Edinburg
Concrete lining of 3.6 miles of earthen main canal to eliminate seepage losses and stabilize delivery capacity to downstream laterals.

- Lateral 9, from the Main Canal south to FM 1925
Replacement of 2.1 miles of open earthen lateral with 48-inch buried pipeline, recovering right-of-way and eliminating evaporation losses.

- Rio Grande River intake, southwest of Hidalgo
Replacement of two river lift pumps, motors and switchgear, with new variable frequency drives and remote telemetry at the District’s primary river intake.

- Main Canal and 14 primary laterals
Installation of calibrated measurement structures and telemetry at 38 locations throughout the canal system.
